About Meeting Recall

Meeting Recall is a local-first meeting recording app. It helps users record meetings, save audio files, play recordings back, share recordings, and open recordings for use with services such as Google NotebookLM.

Meeting Recall does not generate AI summaries, transcriptions, or meeting notes inside the app.

User Responsibility

You are responsible for how you use Meeting Recall.

Before recording any conversation, meeting, or audio, you are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, workplace policies, consent requirements, and privacy rules in your location.

Do not use Meeting Recall to record anyone illegally or without required permission.

Local Recordings

Recordings are saved locally on your device or in a folder you choose.

You are responsible for managing, backing up, sharing, or deleting your recordings.

Meeting Recall is not responsible for lost recordings caused by device issues, storage limits, accidental deletion, operating system behavior, app interruption, or user error.

Third-Party Services

Meeting Recall may help you open or share recordings with third-party services, including Google NotebookLM, cloud storage apps, email apps, messaging apps, or other services.

Those third-party services are not controlled by Meeting Recall. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Meeting Recall is not responsible for what happens to a recording after you share or upload it to another service.

Google Calendar

If you connect Google Calendar, Meeting Recall may use read-only calendar access to show today’s meetings and suggest recording names.

Meeting Recall does not create, edit, or delete calendar events.

You can disconnect calendar access in the app settings or through your Google account permissions.

- violate any law or regulation

- record people without required consent
