Rate Keep is built to be a private, simple currency calculator. We designed the app to work without accounts, ads, tracking, or unnecessary data collection.
Information We Collect
Rate Keep does not require you to create an account and does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, or payment information.
Information Stored On Your Device
Rate Keep may store the following information locally on your device:
- Saved currency pairs
- My Rates that you create
- Recent conversion history
- App preferences, such as theme
- Cached exchange-rate data for offline use
This information stays on your device and is used only to make the app work.
Exchange Rate Data
Rate Keep connects to a third-party exchange-rate provider to download market exchange rates. This allows the app to show current market rates and cache them for offline use.
When the app requests exchange-rate data, standard technical information such as your IP address may be processed by the exchange-rate provider as part of normal internet communication. Rate Keep does not use this information to identify you.
My Rates
My Rates are custom rates that you enter yourself, such as a bank rate, card rate, transfer-service rate, or local market rate. These rates are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to us.
Analytics and Tracking
Rate Keep does not use advertising trackers.
Rate Keep does not sell your data.
Rate Keep does not share your personal information with data brokers or advertising networks.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We may rely on third-party services only when needed to provide app functionality, such as downloading exchange-rate data. These services process requests according to their own privacy practices.
Data Retention and Deletion
Data saved in Rate Keep remains on your device unless you delete it in the app or remove the app from your device.
You can delete saved rates, clear recent conversions, or uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data.
Children’s Privacy
Rate Keep is not designed to collect personal information from children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
We limit data collection by design. Information such as saved rates, saved pairs, and recent conversions is stored locally on your device.
No method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure, but Rate Keep is designed to avoid collecting unnecessary personal data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date above.
