Privacy Policy for Who Dey Owe

Effective Date: June 3, 2026

Who Dey Owe? is an offline debt and payment tracking app built for small businesses.

We respect your privacy. The app is designed to work completely offline and does not require an account, internet connection, or external API to function.

Information You Enter

Who Dey Owe? may store information that you choose to add inside the app, such as:

- Customer names
- Customer phone numbers
- Debt descriptions
- Debt amounts
- Payment records
- Due dates
- Private notes
- Business name and owner name

This information is stored locally on your device.

How Your Information Is Used

The information you enter is used only to help you manage your customers, debts, payments, reminders, receipts, and business records inside the app.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers or third parties.

Offline Storage

Who Dey Owe? stores your data on your own device. We do not operate a server that receives or stores your customer records.

If you delete the app or clear app data, your records may be permanently removed unless you have exported a backup.

WhatsApp Sharing

The app may help you create WhatsApp reminder messages or payment receipts. These messages are only sent when you choose to send them through WhatsApp.

WhatsApp is a separate service owned by Meta. Once you send a message through WhatsApp, that message is handled according to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.

Private notes are for your own records and are not included in WhatsApp reminders or receipts.

Backups

If you use the export or backup feature, the backup file may contain the business and customer information you entered into the app. You are responsible for where you save or share that backup file.

Children’s Privacy

Who Dey Owe? is intended for business use and is not directed to children.

Data Security

Because your records may include customer names, phone numbers, debts, and payments, you should protect your device with a password, PIN, fingerprint, or other security method.

The app may include a local app lock feature, but it is not a replacement for securing your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
