Tempo Privacy Policy

Tempo is made by House of Revayah, LLC. It helps you notice everyday moments and turn your weeks into personal artwork and films. Your daily observations belong to you.

Your entries stay on your device

Water, focus, movement, pauses, mood, energy, dates, film titles, saved weeks, and preferences are stored locally. Artwork and films are created on your device. Tempo does not send these entries to House of Revayah or RevenueCat, and does not upload them for AI processing or remote video rendering. There is no Tempo account or automatic cloud sync.

Journal storage is not separately encrypted by Tempo. Your device's security settings help protect it. Trial timing and the trial-reminder choice are kept separately in secure device storage. Backups of your entries do not contain purchase access or restart a trial.

Purchases and trials

Apple or Google handles payment through its store. RevenueCat helps Tempo verify and restore purchase access. These providers process purchase history, product and transaction identifiers, receipts or purchase tokens, purchase dates, access status, and technical information such as app and operating-system versions and store information. RevenueCat uses a generated app user identifier to recognize purchase access without requiring a Tempo account. Its purchase service also supports purchase analytics and troubleshooting.

We do not receive your payment-card details. We do not send journal entries, films, or backup files to RevenueCat. Tempo does not collect advertising identifiers through an attribution integration, show advertising, or sell your journal entries.

The 14-day trial ends without an automatic charge or subscription. On iOS, the trial is a free store purchase, and its purchase date is used to recognize previous trial access. On Android, trial timing is stored on the device. Lifetime access is a separate one-time purchase. Restore Purchases checks the relevant store account; a journal backup is not proof of purchase.

Reminders and permissions

Reminders are optional and scheduled locally. Tempo asks for notification permission only when you choose a reminder. The trial-ending reminder is separate from daily and weekly reminders. You can turn reminders off in Tempo or your phone settings. Notification text may appear on your lock screen according to your device settings. Tempo does not register for remote push notifications or send your entries to a notification server.

Saving a film requests permission to add it to your photo library where required. Choosing a backup uses the system file picker. Tempo does not need your contacts, precise location, microphone, or photo-library browsing access.

Sharing and backups are your choice

When you share a film or export a backup, the receiving app, person, or storage provider handles that copy under its own policies. Backups contain your entries and preferences. Films can include titles, dates, and totals if you choose to show them. Art-only films hide totals, but can still include titles and dates. Keep backups somewhere you trust.

There is no automatic Tempo backup. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage can remove your journal. Purchase access can be restored from the store, but restoring a purchase does not restore entries. Exported files and films must be deleted separately from wherever you saved or shared them.

Support and your choices

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include in your message. Please avoid sending private entries unless you want us to see them. We use support messages to respond and resolve issues.

You can view and export your journal without an active trial or lifetime unlock. To remove local entries, uninstall Tempo or clear app storage. For questions or requests concerning purchase-service records or information you sent to us, contact info@houseofrevayah.com. Store providers may retain transaction records according to their own policies and obligations. We will help with privacy requests within the information and provider controls available to us.

This website and policy updates

This policy describes the Tempo app. This page is hosted by Squarespace, which processes website visits according to its privacy policy. Opening an external link can share technical connection information with that website.
